Simon Fraser

Hey, my name’s Simon and I no longer do comedy. I am now at law school. I enjoyed my time in comedy but turns out I was chasing the wrong thing. If you are work at a law firm and are looking for summer interns, please let me know.

About.

Simon Fraser is America's favorite Brit, bringing his unique perspective and mischievous stories of an Englishman living in (and loving) middle America to stages across the United States. He has opened for Jason Banks on his nationwide tour and he has performed at festivals such as the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta, the Nantucket Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Simon has received over 80 million views for his jokes on social media, and in 2022, he became the youngest ever winner of the Funniest Person in Cincinnati competition. He also produces and frequently performs at the hit Don’t Tell Comedy shows in Columbus, Ohio, which he maintains is the comedy capital of the world.

Consider the Hot Dog

“It’s the almost arrogant hope that drives people to submit their dogs. They’ll say, ‘This is the hottest dog,’ and I look at this dog and I see a 6,” Simon said.

I relearned sales from a stand-up comedian

Simon practices a lot. Like a lot, a lot.

When he’s not performing or writing, he’s analyzing his sets. Simon records all of his performances and watches them over and over with the scrutiny of an art film critic.

Simon Fraser ’20 to perform at Yale-Harvard Comedy Show

“His style is very him, if that makes sense,” Aguirre said. “I think he has a very particular voice. Untraditionally classic is, I think, a good oxymoron. When you watch it, it feels like stand-up, but I don’t know; the energy is very particular. It’s like skewed tradition, but in the best way possible.”
